Adding Component links to the Table of Contents

You can automatically add a list of components and their properties, methods and events in Table of Contents. To insert the component structure into the table of contents, add the following somewhere into the master topic file:

<TOCLinkGenerator Name="ComponentLinks" Title="Components"/>

The ComponentLinks generator has been added to the LibraryStandard.topics template, the New Project wizard will now add the line above into the master topic file.

Note

The TOCLinkGenerator must be inserted below the other topics within the same topicbook. Topics below the TOCLinkGenerator must either be placed in a sub-TopicBook or in a different TopicBook.
